In a world where everything is being moved to the cloud, how do we regain that personal connection? NOMADgardens is seeking to bring people back into the physical community by transforming vacant lots into vibrant hubs for the community. We are curating a panel of experts to explore what community means for food, tech, urban agriculture and our wellness.
All proceeds will benefit our first garden, set to open as early as mid December in Mission Bay.
Themes to discuss:
Increased isolation as a by-product of a globalized world
Urban planning’s role within community – public/private partnerships
How food builds community
The importance of individual and collective wellness to our communities
Capitalizing on community – the collective support of others to promote change
How do we use this knowledge as a framework to inform how we continue to grow community
